Finding the Slope of a line
Finding the SLOPE of a line

The slope of a line is the ratio of the change

in y over the change in x.

Simply put, find the difference of both the y

and x coordinates and place them in a ratio.

Pick two points on the line.  Count the number of

spaces UP/DOWN to get the y value.

Count the number of

spaces LEFT/RIGHT to get the x value.

So my slope is:
6
5
5
6
Here my slope is
So I simplify it
to
3
1
3
1
3
Now you can try.  I've turned on the indicator
of RIGHT and WRONG at the top corner.  Make
sure you are getting them all correct.  If not,
go back, reread the directions and try again.
