Solving Inequalities
For answers that require two symbols >< and = follow the instructions below!
For ≤, Type x<=1
For ≥,  Type x>=1

(Type x<=1 in the Box below Now!)

Write an inequality that represents
the following situation:

Key Club will spend at least $825 on shirts for its
members. It currently has $115 in its account.
If each member (m) pays $13 for dues, how many
members (m) does Key Club need? (Remember,
you only need to write the inequality, not solve it.)
How many members does Key Club need?

In case you forgot (or got it wrong), the
inequality from the last side was:
         115 + 13m ≥ 825
Write an inequality that represents
the following situation:

The Math Club has a budget of $200. It costs
$5 for each student (s) to enter a competition,
and the Math Club has already spent $75 on
practice tests. How many more students can
enter a competition? (Remember, you only need
to write the inequality, not solve it.)
How many more students can enter
competitions?

In case you forgot (or got it wrong), the
inequality from the last side was:
         5s + 75 ≤ 200
