Mutually Exclusive and Overlapping Events
Two events are said to be mutually exclusive if they can not occur at the same time.
If two events are mutually exclusive, then the probability of both events occurring at the same time is zero.
If events A and B are mutually exclusive, then:
        P(A) or P(B) = P(A) + P(B)
        P(A) and P(B) =
If events are not mutually exclusive, then they are overlapping
If two events are overlapping, then they can both occur at thesame time.
If events C and D are overlapping, then:
       P(C) or P(D) = P(C) + P(D) – { P(C) and P(D) }
       where P(C) and P(D) ≠
